About Us:

We are a small rural church.  Our church atmosphere is casual with regard to dress.  We place a strong emphasis on teaching God’s words and supporting missions.   Our statement of beliefs are listed below:

We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures were verbally inspired of God and that they are preserved by God.

We believe in one God, eternal, omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, manifesting Himself in Three Persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; one in nature, equal in attributes, power, and glory (Matthew 28:19-20).

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and that He is truly God and truly man (see Matthew 1:20-23).

We believe that God created man in His own image and in a state of innocence, but man willfully transgressed God’s law and lost communion with God, becoming dead in sin, corrupt in nature, and incapable of pleasing God (See Genesis 1-3)

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice (see I Corinthians 15:1-7), and rose again to make us right with God All who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood and are saved by grace through faith wholly apart from human merit or works, and are kept by the power of God through faith unto eternal salvation (see John 3:16, 5:24, 6:28-29, Acts 16:30-31, Ephesians 2:8-9).

We believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again by the Holy Spirit through the Word of God and thereby become the children of God, possessing eternal life (see John 1:12, 3:3)

We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into Heaven, and in His present life there for us as High Priest and Advocate (see Hebrews 4:14-16).

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all the dead; the saved to a life of eternal glory and bliss in Heaven with God (see Revelation 21:3, 22:1-5); the unsaved to eternal judgment of conscious suffering and woe in the lake of fire (Revelation 20:10-15).

We believe that believers are to unite together in a Scriptural New Testament church associated by faith and fellowship of the Gospel, observing the ordinances of Christ, that the true mission of the church is the faithful witnessing of Christ to all men (see Hebrews 10:24-25).

We believe in separation from sinful practices, in wholehearted devotion to the cause of Christ. We believe standards of Christian conduct as taught by Jesus and His apostles.
